PointsUp Privacy Policy
PointsUp is designed to keep scoring simple, and the same approach applies to your privacy.
Information We Collect
PointsUp does not collect, transmit, sell or share your personal information.
You do not need to create an account to use PointsUp, and the app does not use advertising, tracking or behavioural analytics services.
Information Stored on Your Device
Information you enter into PointsUp, such as:
- Player names
- Game names
- Scores
- Game settings
- Recent game information
- Player photos selected by the user
is stored locally on your device.
Any photo you choose for a player is kept in PointsUp's own storage on your device. Player photos are not uploaded or transmitted by PointsUp.
This information is used only to provide the features of the app and is not sent to us.
Deleting information within PointsUp, or deleting the app from your device, may remove locally stored PointsUp data.
Your device or operating system may separately include app data as part of device backups depending on your Apple and iCloud settings. These backups are managed by Apple and are not controlled or accessed by PointsUp.
Accounts
PointsUp does not require or provide user accounts.
There is no registration, login or online profile.
Analytics and Tracking
PointsUp does not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioural analytics.
We do not track you across apps or websites.
Advertising
PointsUp does not contain third-party advertising.
Purchases
PointsUp is purchased through Apple's App Store.
Payments and purchase information are processed by Apple in accordance with Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
We do not receive or store payment card details.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated sales and App Store information as part of operating the App Store.
Sharing of Information
Because PointsUp does not collect personal information through the app, we do not sell, rent or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Children's Privacy
PointsUp does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
The app does not contain social networking, messaging or public content-sharing features.
Security
PointsUp has been designed so that game information remains on the user's device rather than being sent to a remote PointsUp service.
Users should still protect access to their device using the security features provided by their operating system.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if PointsUp changes or new functionality is introduced.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
If a future version of PointsUp introduces features that collect or transmit information, this Privacy Policy and relevant App Store privacy disclosures will be updated accordingly.
