PointsUp Support
Need help with PointsUp?
PointsUp is designed to be straightforward, but if something isn't working as expected, we're happy to help.
Getting Started
- Open PointsUp.
- Create a new game.
- Add your players.
- Choose your scoring options.
- Start the game.
PointsUp will keep track of scores, turns and results as you play.
Scoring Modes
Round Scoring
Use Round Scoring when every player receives a score during each round.
Enter each player's score and PointsUp will keep track of the running totals as the game progresses.
Turn Scoring
Turn Scoring is useful when scores change throughout a game rather than at the end of individual rounds.
You can update scores as you play and choose whether running totals should be visible.
Editing a Score
If somebody's score has been entered incorrectly, use the score-editing controls within the game to correct it.
Hidden Scores
If Hidden Scores is enabled, player totals can remain concealed during gameplay.
Scores can then be revealed when the game finishes.
Target Scores
Some games finish when a player reaches a particular score.
If you configure a target score, PointsUp can use it to determine when the game has been won.
Dice Roller
For games that need dice, PointsUp includes an optional built-in dice roller.
Enable it when setting up your game if you want it available during gameplay.
Recent Games
PointsUp can keep information about recent games locally on your device so you can refer back to previous results.
PointsUp does not upload game history to an online account.
My Data Has Disappeared
PointsUp stores its information locally on your device.
Removing the app, clearing its local data, changing devices or restoring the device may affect locally stored PointsUp information.
PointsUp currently does not provide a cloud account or cross-device synchronisation service.
